(INDIANA) - A spokesperson for Parkview Health says its agreements with Anthem Medicare may change in January, 2026.
In early July, Parkview Health and Anthem came to an agreement on a new multi-year contract for commercial plans. At that time, Parkview noted that discussions were still in progress regarding Medicare Advantage plans, but confirmed that the hospital system would remain in Anthem's Medicare Advantage network until December 31.
WPTA-TV reports a Parkview spokesperson has confirmed negotiations are still underway, but no new agreement has been reached. As a result, they anticipate that Anthem Medicare Advantage may be out-of-network with Parkview starting January 1, 2026. The spokesperson reiterated that there will be no changes until that date, and individuals with Anthem Medicare Advantage coverage can still receive in-network care at Parkview through the end of this year.
