(CORUNNA) – Two people were injured in a two vehicle crash over the weekend.
According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, 21 year old Blake Scott of Kendallville was driving east in the 500 block of County Road 34 at 8:30 PM Sunday and was following an automobile driven by 51 year old Jason Reynolds of Auburn.
Reynolds’ vehicle stopped due to geese in the roadway. Scott was unable to stop and rear ended Reynolds.
Two passengers in the Reynolds’ vehicle, 50 year old Melissa Price and 81 year old Sharon Harden both complained of neck pain and were taken to Parkview DeKalb Hospital to be treated.
Scott and Reynolds were not injured. Scott’s vehicle was totaled and Reynolds’ vehicle suffered $8,000 in damages.
The Corunna Fire Department and the Indiana State Police assisted at the scene.
