BUTLER, IN - A driver rolled his car Monday morning after swerving to avoid a deer.
According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, Colin A. Gary, age 19 of Edgerton (Ohio) was traveling west in the 7000 block of County Road 40 in Butler just after 4:45 a.m. Monday morning when after swerved to miss a deer. He drove off the road and hit a large tree which caused the car to roll over.
The car came to a rest in the middle of the road.
Gary was able to exit the vehicle himself, but he was transported by EMS to Parkview DeKalb Hospital for medical treatment.
