(STURGIS) - The Sturgis Kiwanis Club is proud to announce its annual scholarship winners for the Sturgis High School class of 2022.
Receiving $1,500 scholarships are Jacqueline Correa-Cortez and Nancy Montoya, who will both be attending Western Michigan University; Tina Tran who will be going to the University of Michigan; Breckin Prichard who is undecided on where he will be going; and Matthew Wynes who is heading to Grand Valley State University.
Receiving a $500 scholarship is Hayley Kellogg who will be attending Kellogg Community College.
The scholarship winners were honored at the Kiwanis luncheon where they received a certificate of merit, and their scholarship check. A brief bio of each of the student’s achievements was also read to the club.
The Sturgis Kiwanis Club meets at 12 PM each Wednesday at the Sturges-Young Center For The Arts The Kiwanis Club’s largest fund-raising activity is the annual Kiwanis Fine Foods booth at the St. Joseph County Grange Fair.
