LAKE MYRTLE, FL – The Trine University baseball team fell in extra innings on Thursday afternoon 7-6 to Waynesburg University.

The Thunder had the lead in the late innings, but ultimately it was the Yellow Jackets who got the upperhand and came away with the victory.

Trine falls to 4-5 and have lost each of the last three games. Waynesburg improves their record to 2-4.

The spring break trip concludes for Trine tomorrow morning with a doubleheader versus Penn State University-Altoona. First pitch is set for 10 a.m.
