HAMILTON - The Hamilton boys basketball team officially has a new coach this season.
Jeremy Banks, a 1997 DeKalb High School graduate, will be the next Hamilton varsity boys basketball coach.
Banks has served as a 7th and 8th coach and a varsity assistant for Hamilton. He was approved for his new role at the last board of education meeting for the district.
Banks will take over a program that’s struggled in recent years. The Marines haven’t won more than five games since 2006-07 season.
