(BUTLER TOWNSHIP) – Minor injuries to a horse were reported in a weekend truck vs buggy accident in Butler Township..
The Branch County Sheriff’s Office says 79 year old Herbie Holbrook of Homer was driving south on Clarendon Road, north of Herricksville Road at 10:19 AM Sunday and his truck struck the back of an Amish buggy that was also heading south.
Holbrook was not injured. The driver of the buggy, 18 year old Ivan Lengacher and his 16 year old passenger were also not injured. The horse did sustain minor injuries.
Assisting deputies at the scene was the Tekonsha Fire Department.
