(UNDATED) – Get ready for another blast of winter weather.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch in effect from 1 PM Wednesday until 7 AM Thursday for St. Joseph, Branch, Cass and Hillsdale Counties in Michigan, along with LaGrange, Elkhart, Noble, Steuben and DeKalb Counties in Indiana.

Forecasters say heavy mixed precipitation is possible, including snow, sleet, and freezing rain over the area. Snow and sleet are more likely further to the northwest. Total snow accumulations of between 4 and 8 inches are possible.

Travel could be very difficult, as the hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.
