(INDIANAPOLIS) – October unemployment was mixed around Northeast Indiana during the month of October.
The Indiana Department of Workforce Development says LaGrange County’s unemployment rose slightly from 3.3% in September to 3.4% in October.
Steuben County saw a drop in their unemployment from 3.6% to 3.4%. Noble County decreased from 4.4% to 4.3% and Elkhart County went down from 4.6% to 4.3%.
DeKalb County remained at an even 4%.
City numbers were also down. Elkhart dropped from 5.9% to 5.1%. Goshen went from 4.7% to 4.1%, while Fort Wayne dropped from 4.3% to 4.1%.
