(KENDALLVILLE) – A suspect is in custody in connection with a shooting incident over the weekend.
The Kendallville Police Department was notified about a shooting Saturday morning in the 1400 block of South Main Street. Kendallville Officers along with the Noble County Sheriff’s Office and the Avilla Police Department arrived and found a woman who had been injured, and lying down in a parking lot.
She was flown from the scene to a Fort Wayne hospital and is listed in critical condition.
A man was arrested and is behind held in the Noble County Jail on a preliminary charge of attempted murder. The mater is still under investigation.
