STURGIS, MI — A 51-year-old woman was arrested on narcotic related charges in Michigan’s St. Joseph County.
St. Joseph County Sheriff’s deputies say it happened around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday when they stopped a vehicle in a Meijer parking lot in the City of Sturgis.
At that time, deputies suspected that narcotics were being concealed inside of the vehicle and requested the Sturgis K9 Unit respond to the stop. With the help of K9 Odin, deputies located methamphetamine inside the vehicle.
The woman was arrested and lodged at the St. Joseph County Jail.
The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Sturgis Police Department and their K9 Unit.
