COLDWATER, MI – A Coldwater woman was injured Friday morning in a rollover crash.
The accident happened on Stickney Road west of Fillmore Road in Coldwater Township. According to the Branch County Sheriff’s Department, 68-year-old Francine Risi was heading east on Stickney Road at about 8:10 a.m. when she lost control of her vehicle, went off the road and struck three trees. Her vehicle then flipped end over end before coming to rest on its hood.
Risi was alone in the vehicle at time of the crash.
She was entrapped in the vehicle and had to freed by using the Jaws of Life conducted by Coldwater Fire Rescue.
Risi was then taken to the Emergency Room at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
