ANGOLA, IN - An arrest had been made in connection with the fatal shooting of a Fremont Man.
On Tuesday (12/7/21) morning just after 11 a.m. detectives with the Steuben County Sheriff's Department took 18 year old Octavian A. Lensky of Fremont, IN into custody on an arrest warrant charging Lensky with one count of reckless homicide, a level 5 felony. The arrest warrant comes after a 3 month investigation by the Indiana State Police along with the assistance of the Steuben County Sheriff's Office.
Lensky’s arrest is linked to a shooting that occurred back on August 31st, 2021 at a Fremont, IN residence in the 100 block of N Baum Street that claimed the life of 18 year old Caiden Hulliberger. Lensky was apprehended in the 1200 block of North Wayne Street in Angola, IN without incident. He was booked into the Steuben County Jail and remains held without bond pending an initial court appearance.
