BRANCH COUNTY, MI – Multiple vehicles were broken into Friday morning during a four hour time span.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a half dozen break ins which were reported between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. Authorities say four of the break ins were reported on Union City Road between Bidwell Road and Stevens Shores Drive.
The others were reported in the area of Jonesville and Fremont Roads as well as in the Village of Quincy.
Among the items taken was a backpack which was later recovered. Also taken was a wallet with money in it as well as loose change.
This rash of incidents is a reminder to residents in the multi state area to lock their vehicles and keep valuables out of them.
