ORLAND, IN - Miller Amish County Poultry in Orland has announce their 100,000+ sq ft plant expansion is finally complete.
An investment costing over $50 million dollars, the expansion incorporates state-of-the-art technology as well as new employee safety amenities including an entrance complete with infrared temperature scanners.
The expansion also means the company can now process 100% of their chicken utilizing air-chilling technology. Miller Poultry’s 100% air-chilled method enhances the chicken’s flavor so consumers can be confident that they are getting the best chicken on the shelf.
Miller Amish Country Poultry, located south of Orland on 327, is one of the biggest employers in Steuben County and the tri-state region.
