COLDWATER – More free COVID-19 tests will be administered in Coldwater next week.
The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency announced they will be doing more testing on Tuesday, October 27 at the Branch Area Transit Authority bus garage which is at 306 South Clay Street. The testing will be from 2 PM until 5:30 PM. The tests will be done on a first come, first serve basis for Michigan residents only.
If you come for the test, please bring identification. Minors can be tested if they are calm and with a parent. The State of Michigan will cover the cost of the tests and insurance is not required.
CHA Health Officer Rebecca Burns encourages anyone with symptoms or anyone concerned they may have been exposed to be tested. Burns says Nasopharyngeal tests will be administered to determine whether individuals currently have COVID-19. Antibody testing will not be done at this event.
The CHA and the Michigan National Guard will be on hand to do the free
testing.
