On August 20th, 2020, the Auburn Police Department started an investigation regarding a
possible sex offense that occurred in the 800 block of Erie Pass sometime between August 18th -19th
2020. It was later discovered that other offenses occurred prior to this date which did not involve the
original complainant.

Through the course of the investigation, several victims of alleged sex offenses came forward. The Auburn Police Department is still investigating additional allegations. If anyone has additional information, please contact Detective Aaron Quick at 260-920-3200 ext. 1904.

On September 24th , 2020, Steven E Lemmon was arrested on 2 counts of Class A Felony Child
Molesting, which are pending in the DeKalb Superior Court I.
