LOCKPORT TOWNSHIP – Two drivers were injured in a three vehicle crash.
The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department says at 2:20 Thursday afternoon, a pick up driven by a 25 year old Three Rivers man was heading south on Buckhorn Road near Arizona Boulevard, and did not see a vehicle ahead of him slowing down for a third vehicle making a turn.
The pick up driver side swiped an SUV, driven by a 36 year old Three Rivers woman. The pick up then went into the northbound lane and hit another SUV, driven by a 52 year old Three Rivers woman.
The two female drivers were taken to Three Rivers Health for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver of the pick up was cited for the crash. All three drivers were wearing their safety belts. Assisting deputies was the Three Rivers Fire Department.
