Denny Hamlin once again became the NASCAR Cup Series season long wins leader on Thursday night, with his fifth win of the season in a 400-mile event held at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, KS.
Hamlin took the win over Michigan native, Brad Keselowski as former series champions Martin Truex, Jr. and Kevin Harvick came home third and fourth. Another Michigan driver, Erik Jones came home fifth.
The series heads to Loudon, New Hampshire on Sunday, August 2nd in a 301-mile/lap event before heading to Michigan International Speedway for a double header weekend on Saturday and Sunday, August 8th and 9th.
