The unstable weather from the past several days that had brought periods of heavy rain along with hot and humid conditions appear to be done for at least the first part of the work week according to the National Weather Service.

Conditions today are expected to bring mostly sunny skies across the tri-state region, with high temperatures in the low 80 degree range. Similar conditions are expected for Tuesday, before chances of showers and storms return to the forecast on Wednesday and Thursday before hotter and more humid conditions return on Friday, with temperatures returning to the mid 90's.
