Each quarter staff at the Chain O' Lakes Correctional Facility (COL) nominate a peer deserving of recognition for exemplary performance of their duties. This past quarter the award was presented to Correctional Officer Jeremy Taylor by COL Warden Charles Bowen.

Several staff members who nominated Officer Taylor described him as being kind, firm, fair and consistent in holding residents responsible for their actions, and doing so without being over-bearing. Other staff noted that Jeremy goes out of his way to help others, while maintaining a positive outlook and possessing character traits of enthusiasm, punctuality, honor, and initiative.

"Officer Taylor consistently does what needs to be done without having to be asked to do so" commented Warden Bowen. "I greatly appreciate his commitment to his duties, his fellow officers and to the residents here at Chain 'O Lakes."
