Thursday, April 2, 2020

During his daily press conference on Thursday, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb addressed how he understands and empathizes with the inconveniences that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused Hoosiers in regards to social distancing. However, Holcomb did give a word of praise to one Northeast Indiana High School.

Holcomb discussed how proud he was that Eastside High School Butler recently discovered that they had an abundance of IPADs on shelves that were not being used that they have been updated and given to the local nursing homes so that older residents can still stay in touch with family and friends during these troubled times.

Holcomb also went on to further emphasize it will take an entire state effort among Indiana's 92 counties to help prevent further spread of the upper respiratory virus that has already claimed over 75 Hoosier lives in the past month.
