COLDWATER TOWNSHIP – Three fire departments responded to a house fire in Branch County's Coldwater Township.
Branch County Central Dispatch says they received a call at 5:19 Friday morning of a house fire at 237 South Willowbrook Road, just north of Dorrance Road.
The Coldwater Fire Department was sent to the scene, and when they saw the house was fully engulfed in flames, they requested mutual aid. The Quincy and Lakeland Fire Departments responded and arrived with their tankers to help fight the fire.
The fire was finally brought under control around 9:30 AM. Life Care Ambulance was also dispatched to help on location.
A cause for the fire has not been determined.
