Lake Effect Snow Predicted In Tri-State Region Until Early Afternoon

According to the National Weather Service, Lake Effect Snow Showers are expected to be seen through much of the duration of the day today lasting until early to late afternoon, with much cooler temperatures remaining in effect through Wednesday.

Predictions of total snow accumulations vary, however of a coating to 1 inch are possible. This activity and temperatures in the mid to upper 20s may result in slippery travel. Limited visibility is also expected in heavier snow showers. Motorists are urged to use caution and account for the variable driving conditions by slowing down and allowing extra time.
