The City of Napoleon filed two court actions within Henry County to stop the merger of the County Regional Water and Sewer District with Northwestern Water and Sewer District.

Earlier this year, the county district initiated a merger process with Northwestern, primarily having to do with financial concerns, as well as issues regarding personnel. All of this in an effort to find a more affordable water source.

Northwestern has assumed operations of the district while the final merger is worked out, as the process now moves into the court system.
